Northumberland Wedding Photographer
My name is Simon Hogben, and I am a professional wedding photographer based in the North East. My wedding photos tend to be more relaxed and laid-back. I prefer to look for the special moments. Although I do include a few portrait shots, they only make up a portion of your wedding album. As I mingle with your guests, I try to be discreet as possible. Real weddings aren’t scripted. They flow naturally, and everyone is at ease.
I have been a wedding photographer for many years and have learned a few different tricks with lighting and composition that I rely on to produce unique and stunning wedding photographs. I try to work quickly because a perfect moment will be gone in the blink of an eye. No two couples are the same, and each wedding is as unique as the sunrise. I enjoy being able to write a new wedding story for each one.

Choosing your Northumberland wedding photographer is a big decision. You want to find a professional photographer you like. You also want to trust them. Wedding photography is different from other forms of photography. Your photographer must be able to recognise the special moments. They must also be exceptional storytellers. The only difference is that I use photographs instead of words.
A good eye for portraits is a plus. There should be a few carefully chosen portraits in every wedding album, but I prefer candid, unposed shots that tell the real story of your big day. Real emotions and powerful interactions are rarely scripted and can’t be duplicated. You only have one chance to capture the perfect shot. Capturing those shots is what I do, and I love my job!

The staff at your wedding venue will go to great lengths to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. Take a deep breath and enjoy yourself. Your day will be what you make it!
The Beauty of Northumberland
Northumberland is the most northern part of the UK, and has all of the most beautiful geological features. As part of the North East, Newcastle upon Tyne, County Durham, and Cumbria are close by. The North Sea to the east provides breathtaking seaside views. Scotland borders to the north and also offers picturesque countryside vistas. Northumberland is home to many different wedding venues. You can choose from a quiet country setting to a huge hall where you can invite all your friends and family.
Northumberland is rich in history and was mentioned by Shakespeare in his literary works. The area is full of romance and is the perfect place for you to celebrate your wedding day. As you travel through Northumberland looking for the best location for your wedding, stop to enjoy the sights and sounds. They will help to set the tone for your ceremony. As a North East wedding photographer, they will also help me tell your story.
Whether you want luxury and elegance or privacy and solitude, Northumberland has a wedding venue for you. Your wedding is your day to shine. The right venue will give you a chance to make your dream of having the perfect wedding come true. Take a few moments to think about what you want, and then choose the venue that will offer the setting you feel most comfortable in.
Northumberland has many beautiful wedding venues. You can find luxury venues that offer five-star service. Or, if you prefer, choose a rural country setting for its quiet, very private atmosphere.
