Are You Looking For Gisborough Hall Wedding Photographers?

Gisborough Hall Wedding Photography

My favourite weddings are those where I can access fantastic architecture and breathtaking countryside views. My name is Simon Hogben. I am an award-winning North Yorkshire wedding photographer. I love colour and using natural light to create one-of-a-kind wedding photographs. At Gisborough Hall, the manor’s unique features add a special touch to portraits and candid shots. A good wedding photographer knows how to use a home’s architecture to create memorable wedding photos. As a student of Art History, I love using the beauty of a structure to enhance my portraits. During your wedding day, the majority of my photos will be candid. I enjoy mingling with the guests so I can be in the midst of the action. I look for spontaneous moments where your guests let their guard down and allow their emotions to show in my photographs.

Gisborough Hall, North Yorkshire

Gisborough Hall is a beautiful old manor hall once owned by the monarchy. Over the years, the original structure changed, and the property was converted into a hotel and luxury wedding venue. The edge of the North Yorkshire moors is right outside the front door. Cleveland Hills is nearby and offers guests an opportunity to take advantage of the beautiful countryside. The glass house and ballroom are two of the hall’s most stunning areas where a bride and groom can say their vows and celebrate with family and friends. Gisborough Hall is one of the most romantic wedding venues in North Yorkshire. Couples can choose to have a small intimate wedding or a large celebration with all of their family and friends. You want your wedding day to be unique! The staff of Gisborough Hall Hotel ensure that every modern-day luxury is provided to its guests.

The History of Gisborough Hall

During the time of Henry VIII, the name of the hall was Guisborough. When Richard Godolphin Walmesly took control of the country estate, he altered the spelling, changing it to Gisborough. Henry VIII dissolved many monasteries during his reign. The Guisborough Monastic Estate was finally dissolved, and the property was sold to Sir Thomas Chaloner. The old hall was eventually razed, and the new hall built in its place.

In 1856, a descendant of the original owner, Admiral Thomas Chaloner, had Longhull constructed where the old farmhouse once stood. As you walk the property, the oldest parts of the current structure are portions attributed to the Admiral’s efforts. The current owner, Lord Gisborough and his family continue to maintain the property and work diligently to ensure that the estate offers guests a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
