Wedding Photographer THIEF HALL

My name is Simon, and I am a Wedding Photographer Thief Hall based on Teesside. I love candid shots and capturing my subjects in the moment. I will always include a few portraits, especially of the bride and her dress. Capturing photos of the wedding party as they prepare for the day can be fun. Smiles and laughter are a great way to ease the nervous tension a bride and groom may feel as they wait to say their vows.

It is my job to tell the story of your wedding. Thief Hall is the perfect wedding venue for anyone who wants to share private time with family and friends. The wedding venue has everything you will need for your weekend stay. Wedding planners are nearby and ready to answer your questions. They will take care of all the details so you can spend quality time with your guests.

Thief Hall, North Yorkshire

Thief Hall is one of the most unique wedding venues in North Yorkshire. The wedding venue is on a well-travelled road between Northallerton and Thirsk. Thief Hole Lane is steeped in rumours about how it got its name. The stories vary from person to person, depending on the location and which folk tale you choose to believe.

Thief Hall wedding venue is one of the most popular in Yorkshire. It is a blank canvas that you can decorate in whatever way you choose. The luxury venue offers everything you will need to make your wedding day a fairy tale come true. Wedding and venue planners help you organise your thoughts and get all the details in order. Your North Yorkshire wedding will be one you remember for the rest of your life.

The History of Thief Hall

One of the stories about Thief Hall revolves around a “hole” near the end of the road where thieves would hide while they were waiting to rob the stagecoach. Thief Hole Lane was given the name around 1657. Stagecoaches didn’t use the road until 1763, so the story is only a myth. The question of how the lane got its name may never be answered, but it adds to the mystery and intrigue surrounding the area, making it a local favourite.

Thief Hall has been there for hundreds of years, just not as it is now. Its first use was as a sheep barn. When the owners started the renovation process, the cottages were finished first. In 2015, renovations were completed. The renovations included the luxury wedding venue you see today and six lovely cottages designed for comfort and privacy.

Thief Hall is an exclusive-use wedding venue that gives you the option for an indoor or an outdoor wedding. In addition to the barn, you can access the six quaint cottages (5 with hot tubs) and six glamping pods. On the weekend of your wedding, you will get access to the property from 10 am on Friday until 4 pm on Sunday. You can decorate the venue as little or as much as you like. Wedding planners are available every step of the way to make sure your special day is perfect.

The North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs. England is full of scenic areas, but there’s something about the Moors and the Dales that make them feel more romantic than most. The rustic barn is the perfect place for your wedding photos. As a North Yorkshire wedding photographer, the history that surrounds the venue make it one of my favourite places in the UK to shoot weddings.
